Oswaldtwistle Churches Together Foodbank
The foodbank, which operates from Rhyddings Church, Chapel Street, Oswaldtwistle each Monday between 1.00 pm and 4.00 pm, serves the people of Oswaldtwistle and Accrington by providing a regular supply of food and toiletries when their personal circumstances make it difficult for them to provide for themselves and their families. We have been serving the community for the last seven years, having started as a group of churches from different denominations who saw an unfulfilled need in the locality.
The foodbank is staffed by a small team of dedicated volunteers who source the supplies we need, raise money and make up food parcels for our service users each week. New volunteers are always welcomed.
We are well supported by local supermarkets, schools and community groups such as Rotary and Lions.

We are in particular need at the moment of the following items - tinned meat, tinned pies, tinned fruit, tinned rice pudding, tinned custard and toiletries. Thank you
