Cambridge Street
Cambridge Street Methodist Church is actually on Lodge Street in a traditional residential area, not far from the town centre. We recently celebrated our 140th Anniversary. Our church enjoys traditional Methodist worship on a Sunday morning, with a mixture of traditional hymns and more modern worship songs. As well as Sunday worship, various groups meet during the week including Men’s Regnal, Ladies Fellowship and Dominoes Club. Whilst the Sunday congregation is mainly retired people, the church also has active Rainbows, Brownies and Girl Guide groups.
If you come to Cambridge Street you will find a warm welcome and supportive Christian fellowship.
