West End
West End Methodist Church is very much a member led community church with a strong missional imperative, dedicated to serving the surrounding community, bringing them the good news of Jesus Christ and making them disciples of our Lord and Saviour.
Sunday morning worship is at 10:30am and if you come into the church on a Sunday morning, or at any other time, you will find a warm welcome and people who really care about you. Our worship is still traditional in outline, but lively with a good mixture of strong traditional hymns and modern worship songs. As with any Methodist Church the variety of Ministers and Local Preachers leading our services brings variety and theological balance. We also have a small but thriving Junior Church for our younger members.
The church has a variety of social activities during the week. There is a Bible Study on a Saturday morning. Our biggest social activity is our Thursday Coffee Morning (tea also available) where we sometimes have guest speakers. Other Social activities include a keep fit club and a craft group.
Once a month we have a Sunday afternoon Café Church, a more relaxed informal form of worship over tea, coffee and biscuits.
